Best neighborhoods in Wilmington nc

Hey everyone,

My family and I are planning to move to Wilmington, NC, and we could really use some advice on the best neighborhoods. We're a family with young kids, and both of us work from home. Here’s what we’re looking for:

Family-Friendly: Good schools, parks, and stuff for kids to do.

Community Feel: We love neighborhoods with a strong sense of community and local events.

Safety: Low crime rates are a must.

Close to Amenities: It’d be awesome to be near shopping centers, restaurants, and fun places.

Commute: We work from home, but easy access to main roads would be great for occasional commutes.

Housing: We’re open to single-family homes or townhouses, ideally in areas where property values are going up.

We’ve heard about places like Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Place, and Riverlights, but we'd love to hear your thoughts. Are there any hidden gems we should know about? Any neighborhoods that offer a good mix of what we’re looking for?
